Elizabeth Cecilia Kennison, born July 21st, 1919 was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She always cared for others over herself and brought joy to those around her. Her strength, and faith in God kept her family together through difficult times.

Betty went home on September 24th, 2007. We will miss you for now, Granmere, but we’ll see you again.
9.18.07 6.13 22. We’re home, finally, and have been so busy with our new addition to the family. We’re utterly exhausted, yet filled with an overwhelming joy. This is the story of the most amazing week of my life.
Friday, September 14th. I went to work and left the car with Erin to go the OBGYN for her checkup, as had become the routine this last month. At about 1:30, she shows up at the office grinning like crazy. She tells me that all this time we thought the baby was due on the 20th, but he was actually due on the 11th. Of course I’m cool calm and collected after hearing this *ahem*. So the Dr. decides it would be best to induce on Monday the 17th. No pressure. Don’t Panic.
Sunday, September 16th. We spent the weekend getting ready, cleaning and packing for the hospital and for the week or so after. We left in the morning for an 8am appointment, and are going to be spending some time at Erin’s Mom’s house in Simi after the delivery.
Monday, September 17th. Got to the hospital and checked into Labor and Delivery. They checked Erin and she was already 2-3 cm. By the time 9am rolled around, Erin was on the Patosin and in labor. We moved to the delivery room where we would spend the next 16 hours or so. Erin’s Mom stayed by her side for the whole process, from labor to delivery. Read the rest of this entry »
He’s here!! Micah Ian Kennison came into this world at 2:07 this morning, September 18, 2007. He weighed in at just 6lbs. 13oz., and was a whopping 22″ long! He had a bit of trouble learning how to use his little lungs, and I spent much of the morning in and out of the nursery. He hung in there, and everything is just fine now. He’s already been called the “cutest baby boy in the hospital”!
Micah and his beautiful Mommy are now getting some much needed rest. We will be here at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, CA until Thursday, then we’ll be heading to Grandma Sheila’s in Simi for a week or two. I’ll be posting more pics soon (after I get a little sleep!), in the meantime come see him for yourself!
Well, we are headed to the hospital to check things out, but we may end up staying there and having a baby! Micah is past-due, so if there are no complications, we are inducing on Monday. Looks like I won the bet Erin!! Guess who gets 24 hour diaper duty. Muahaha.
Micah’s baby shower was on Sunday and HOLY COW, he got quite a booty (he gets it from his mom). Ha! Anyway, here are the pics, thank you sooo much to all of our friends and family that came out, we love you all, we had so much fun! Thanks for all of the wonderful gifts we are so grateful! See you all soon!

Hey guys, we had sooo much fun hanging out with everyone in Bishop. even though we didn’t catch much, it was aesome to see you all again after so long. I’m really glad I brought the camera, I hope you all like the pics.
